Soultz has grown and now counts 7146 inhabitants. Its development* was a controlled and harmonious one, respecting its rich architectural past and making place for newcomers.

But our town is not only made of stone, it forms a coherent whole, offering a true quality of life with its protected environment, control of its drinking water*, microclimate* and privileged situation, far from the great pollution-ridden areas but also well-served by a high quality road infrastructure*.

The people of Soultz also contribute to the protection of the environment by recycling their waste thanks to household-waste sorting and by using the waste reception centre at their disposal.
