The people of Soultz enjoy sport and their record of achievements* is there to prove it. Ever since 1861, the « La Vosgienne* » – second oldest French gymnastics society – has paved the way by taking part in the Olympic Games. Nowadays it is the handball team that defends our colours at a national level and with the same spirit of excellence.
The town’s extensive territory and its rich heritage also offer a good choice of activities such as walking, mountain biking, skiing on the Grand-Ballon*, horse riding, etc… which are all so many ways of discovering a preserved natural environment. The town’s calendar* is peppered with a great variety of sport meetings; therefore everyone can satisfy the sport passion of their choice.
